Price: The price of Fuel Oil, sold under the terms of CIF ASWP, will be calculated in U.S. dollars per Metric Ton on the basis of the “mean” arithmetic average of 3 (three) successive quotations as published in “PLATT’S European MARKETWIRE” (hereinafter “Platt’s Market Price”) SHALL BE FIXED FOR THE WHOLE PERIOD OF DELIVERY TIME 12 MONTHS, CIF ASWP AND CALCULATED PER EACH ONE DELIVERED BARREL.
Delivery: The delivery of the Product is guaranteed by SELLER CIF to ASWP (Buyer’s option) including freight and insurance.
Payment: IRREVOCABLE DOCUMENTARY LETTER OF CREDIT, OPERATIVE
– REVOLVING ASSIGNED AND CONFIRMED ISSUED BY A PRIME BANK, PER PERIOD 12 (TWELVE) MONTHS in favor of the Seller in the amount in US Dollars corresponding to the total value of each shipment or Monthly value of the Goods . LC issued will be valid for (45) forty five days.
Inspection: Quality & Quantity by SGS/ Saybolt or Equivalent at Sellers cost at Port of Loading.
PB: Seller issues a FULL OPERATIVE 2% Performance Bond.
Fuel Oil/Mazut is supplied according to different specification, section for fuel oil, mazut sort. This kind of oil is graded as the heavy furnace oil. The product is produced from the remains of raw oil processing.
Differences in the mazut characteristics (sulphur content).
The main difference in the different kinds of fuel oil/mazut is the content of sulphur.
The grades are:
- Very low sulfurmost with sulfur content 0,5%
- Lowsulfurmost with sulfur content 0,5-1,0%
- Normalsulfurmost with sulfur content 1,0- 2,0%
- Highsulfurmost with sulfur content 2,0-3,5%
- Information about very low/low sulphurmazut with sulphur content 0,5-1% supply (this information concerns EXCLUSIVELY 0,5-1% sulphur content mazut).
This kind of mazut is produced only from the low sulphur raw oil. It is very limited volume of this mazut available for export because of the following reasons.
There is limited number of producers, who produce this kind of mazut.
Proceeding from the above, as at the moment the demand exceeds many time the supply on the market, the producers dictates the terms for the supply. Right now, the universal term for any kind of delivery (either domestic market or for export) to any kind of buyer (either commercial or state firm) from any country is 100% advance payment with product loading at the producers plant within 21 days after prepayment is registered on the bank account of the producer.
This term is dictated by the producer of the product and it is not negotiable.
